Felting and textile workshops at Slingsby village hall
Because of my move from Hutton-Le-Hole I have booked my local village hall in Slingsby for workshops organized after the 16th of July.
All but one of the dates remain the same. The September Nuno Scarf workshop is now on the 20th not the 27th.
As the hall is quite large I can accommodate 10 to 12 people on each workshop, so if you were interested in coming along to a workshop which was previously fully booked please get in touch, as there are extra places now.

Feltmaking and Related Workshops
16th February Small Decorative Vessels
Produce a small vessel using several different fibres
22nd March * Embroidery for Feltmakers
Hand and Machine stitching techniques, to embellish your felt work
26th April Nuno Felting FULL
Learn the technique of combining fleece with delicate open weave fabrics
14th June Hanging or Picture (Suitable for beginners)
Produce a small hanging or picture using a variety of fibres

Work with marino half-felts and fleece to create pattern, colour and texture

Make a lightweight scarf to your own design
I'm afraid I have had to cancel this October workshop
Make a seamless bag or purse from your own design
15th November Jewellery
Learn several techniques to create small pieces, to wear or give as Christmas
presents
The cost of each workshop is £35, which includes materials and refreshments. You will need to bring a packed lunch.
A non-returnable deposit of £10 is required for each workshop booked.
* These workshops also require you to bring additional materials.
There are 10 places on each workshop, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
All workshops take place on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
